1 Year With Yuki

A year ago today I got one of the best surprises of my life. A small ball of fluff made its way into my home and heart.
I can't believe that itsbeen a year since I've had my dog Yuki, its been filled with ups and downs but I wouldn't change any of it.
In the year that I've had her she has taught me so much. How to be patient, what unconditional love is, it doesn't matter if I'm gone the whole day I know that she will greet me with a wagging tail and always ready to cuddle. Most importantly she has taught me how to care for another living being.
I'm sure there is a lot more the both of us can learn and I can't wait to grow older with her on my lap. I just hope as the years go by she become more clamer.

The first photo I took of her

For the first few nights she slept on one of my stuffed animals.

The first time I tried taking her for a walk.. didn't go too well.

When she climbed onto my lap for the first time.

"What do I do with this?"

And the most heartbreaking day ever.. the day of her surgery 

She was so miserable the first night with the cone, we didn't sleep very much.

So we got her a pillow instead.

I would take it off during the day and kept an eye on her 

And she slowly got better!

Went to the vet and got the okay to take off the pillow! She slept with her friend again

And then on my leg..

When it's time to clean the bathroom she lays on the shower curtain
