January Favorites
The first month of the new year is officially behind us. Where has the time gone! I feel like January flew by so quickly, hence the super late post on my January favorites. So let's just jump right into it, shall we?
BEAUTY/SKINCARE
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in berry
This mask has vitamin C, shea butter, and other fruit extracts like raspberry, strawberry, and goji berry to soothe and soften lips. It smells amazing!! Just like strawberry, which is my favorite and comes with a cute little applicator. It claims to gently melt away dead akin cells leaving lips moist. Which I do think is true, although it can be a bit sticky it leaves my lips very soft. I find that by the time I wake up, I don't have any product, not sure if it's because I'm a crazy sleeper or I just don't use enough but it still really helps with my chapped lips.
I got mine here for $10.63
Banish Pumpkin Enzyme Masque
This is actually my second jar, that's how much I love it! It smells so delicious, to me it actually smells like sweet potato casserole? It's all natural and organic. Noticeable ingredients include pumpkin fruit, organic bilberry fruit extract, organic orange peel extract, vitamin c, rosemary leaf extract, ginger root powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon bark powder.
It helps to loosen sebum and dead skin cells to exfoliate and leaves your skin soft. It does tingle/sting at first which is totally normal and will go away after a few seconds. You can also use it as a spot treatment as it helps to speed up the healing process and increases collagen production. It is a little pricy but totally worth it. You can get it here for $35
Bliss Kiss Simply Pure Hydrating Oil in winter
This is one of my hoily grails!! I absolutely love love love this oil! I use it on my nails and cuticles to keeps them nice and, well.. hydrated. It helps with hangnails, calms eczema flare ups, luckily I don't suffer from that, it also stops nail peeling and breaks. Especially in the cold and winter time when your hands get super dry. I bought a sample pen and ended up LOVING this scent so much that I bought the bigger 4oz bottle. It seriously smells like Christmas. On their site the scent description is pretty accurate.
"When you apply, you'll feel like you walked into a room filled with the aroma of a freshly cut Christmas tree and citrus mulled cider simmering on the stove"
It is $6.42 for one pen, $21.42 for four pens and $48.21 for the 4oz bottle which is pretty expensive but I do think its the best value. They always have a semi annual sale twice a year which is when I usually stock up but they have this fun little quiz to find out what's your nail art style is and you can get a 10% off coupon at the end. They do ship worldwide if you're curious to try it out.
Nest Fragrances in Indigo
I got this roller ball from my boyfriend's sister, she actually gave me a full bag of goodies and this was one of the things that I absolutely fell in love with! I've been wearing this pretty much the whole month of January and I do feel like it lasts all day long, especially when I put some on the back of my neck near my hairline. I'm not good at describing scent so on their site it say that "Moroccan tea, Kashmir wood, black cardamom are enhanced with hints of wild fig and bergamot." And if you're like me and have no idea what scents descriptions means I guess to me it just smells a little sexy but in a subtle way? Very sophisticated and aromatic. I really want to get my hands on the bigger bottle before I run out but that probably won't happen anytime soon because you only need a tiny bit.
You can find it online at Sephora for $72
Next are these cute dainty little earrings that my boyfriend got me for my birthday I want to say these have been pretty much the only earrings I wore for the whole month of January. I usually don't wear too much gold jewelry so these are actually perfect for me I also only wear studs, I used to wear long dangling earrings but as I got older I started to gravitate towards smaller earrings. So thank you boyfriend for the gift! I absolutely love them.
And finally my last favorite(s) are nothing new but thought I'd share because it's something that I have almost every night and that would be green tea. I just prefer tea over coffee, I can't even remember the last time I have a cup of coffee. Something else I've been loving are these stroopwafels cookies. I usually get mine from tj maxx or ross and so far I've seen three flavors. Honey, caramel (my favorite), and chocolate. Each box for about $3-$4.
And there you have it! My monthly favorites for January. Hoped you enjoyed reading and found something you are curious to try for yourself. Let's hope I can be on time for the month of February. What are some thing you've been loving? I'm always open to check out new products!

That Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask looks interesting. I want to try something from that brand!!
ReplyDeleteFrom the reviews that I read a lot of people love this mask, that's why I got it. I have a friend that tried their sleeping mask, the one that comes in a blue pot (can't remember the name right now) and said that it's really hydrating
